How to go from second place with 30 of 95 left to out in 25th:

lose four consecutive races all-in preflop.

Signs and portents that the tournament won't go your way:

get a walk with AA and KK during the first hour and a half & win the blinds with no action with AA #2;

run AA #3 into flopped quads (but lose the minimum).

Slowplay QQ in a blind battle into oblivion.

Perhaps I can make another final table next week. I would really like to win a ToC seat soon.

NB. Congrats to Alan for taking it down. He played patient poker and really played a great HU match to grind out the victory.
